Thanks, pcangel. I believe this applies so much to my life. And if a person doesn't believe in god, they can substitute the word "life" and it still makes sense.

I see hardship as part of reality too, pcangel. I am simply saying that the quote says that hardship is GIVEN to us on purpose by LIFE/GOD because it is WHAT WE NEED....(though not what we want).
